Young Entrepreneur, David Conway, Receives $5,000 Scholarship
Wilton Patch , Friday, June 25, 2010
Most small business owners are good with money because they have to be. It just so happens that David Conway is exceptionally good with it.
Conway founded and runs CoolCash Coins, a coin appraisal business he started in 2007 as a way to encourage the collection of and investment in U.S. coins and currency, according to a release. Conway generates income from the business by investing his company's revenue in stock and precious metals and he also donates his appraisal services to several non-profit organizations.
For his efforts and ingenuity, Conway will receive a $5,000 scholarship from the National Federation of Independent Business Young Entrepreneur Foundation and Visa Inc. He was one of only five young business owners selected from a pool of more than 4,300 nationwide applicants.
Rep. Jim Himes was on hand to help Conway commemorate the occasion.
