Says vandalism of signs in Westport may be first of many Republican tactics
BRIDGEPORT, CT: Yesterday, it was reported that Democratic lawn signs in the Westport area were vandalized. The Himes Campaign issued the following statement in response:
"The Republican Party has a long and shameful record of dirty tricks like the vandalism in Westport last week," said Michael Sachse, Spokesman for the Himes Campaign. "Last time around, Republicans bombarded voters with annoying robocalls that violated FEC rules. Chris Shays' own consultants, Jamestown Associates, have a long record of dirty tricks, including a track record of phone tricks that play on racial prejudices."
