Every day, 100 Americans are killed by guns and hundreds more are injured. But the effects of gun violence impact all of us, every single day.

Inaction is unacceptable. Jim is proud to fight for common sense gun safety legislation, including implementing background checks, no fly no buy, an assault weapons ban, full funding for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, better mental health screening before gun purchases, and limited magazine sizes. Additionally, he co-sponsored the Assault Weapons Ban of 2022.

For too long, Americans have lived in fear of gun violence. For too long, Americans have lost their lives due to ineffective gun laws. Enough is enough: it’s time for change.
